Thanks guys for the input. On another thread, I learned that the A5's are very bright and that Harman Kardon or Marantz may warm them up a bit. Any suggestions on brand and model. Seems like output power on HK receivers is very low and I do not want to have to add an amp to this configuration. Thanks again.

Are you using them for music or home theater?

I have a HK 254 with my A5's. I think it sounds really good. It has pre-outs so i "can" add an amp in the future if i want to. HK rates the power on their amps differently than most of the other companies. I was worried about my HK as well before i purchased my A5's but was assured that it would be fine and indeed it was.
In you r price range just about any receiver will work good. I would suggest either a HK, Pioneer, Onkyo, or Dennon. Their are many others out there so just find one that has the features that you want. I would get one that has pre-outs so you can build on it in the future and not have to purchase a new one if you want more power later.Front - RTiA5's

+ 1 for the HK. My 354 has no problem with the A5's and its only 75 WPC. Harman Kardon under rates their power compared to most of the other brands. You can easily find a 354 for less than $500 on their ebay store. I'd say its performance would be very comparable to the Onkyo 805, and it warms up the A5's nicely.Home TheaterRTiA5 - CSiA6 - FXiA6 - PSW650 - Pioneer Elite SC-55 - Carver AV-505 - Sony 46" 120Hz - Monster HP 2400 - Xbox 360 - Playstation 32 ChannelPolk RTA 15TL - Harman Kardon HK3485 - HK DVD48 - Signal Cable IC's and speaker cables

I would recommend the Onkyo 805/806. I have an 806 and love mine. Both have pre-outs for adding an external amp, an upgrade your RTi's will thank you for.

The H/K 254 and 354 have been mentioned or the newer 3600.
Marantz any model from the 5000 series up depending on your budget?
I, agree, if you like warm you should think about the above...Rtis will sound a little bright even with the Onkyo even though I have one and I like Onkyos quite a lot!
