Oh, and just to avoid confusion, the vast majority of people wouldn't bother cleaning these, as all of them I looked at were quite clean. But I'm one of those fanatics that wet cleans a brand new record before I ever play it. This is largely due to the fact that it costs 400 to get my cart retipped, so it's my better-safe-than-sorry suspenders-and-pants attitude.Turntable: Empire 208
Arm: Rega 300
Cart: Shelter 501 III

I'm going to start posting them in lots on eBay tomorrow night I guess. I'll pull some to offer here.
Thanks for the interest.
Cheers,

Folks, anyone within striking distance of this deal should jump on it. The time and expense involved to slowly build a collection like that would be far more expensive than what Russman is asking at one shot.>

Quadzilla-If you're willing to ship any of it, I'd be interested in some of it. I'm just getting started on my vinyl trip, and this would be a great way to pad my collection a little bit.
It's up to you though, let me know.:)The nirvana inducer-

Just so everyone is clear, I'm not interested in competing with the guy that normally sells records here. However, I would probably let 1 or 2 big pieces of the collection go once I get it merged with my existing collection and find out what duplicates I have and what stuff isn't my taste. Given that I have somewhere north of 1200 records already, this is going to be a very large collection. However, at least a 1/3 of what I have already is marked for selling/donating/whatever.Turntable: Empire 208

I'm pretty familiar with what's in that collection.....I'd classify more of a music lover's collection as opposed to a strictly audiophile collection. Not that there aren't a TON of audiophile stuff in there but more a case of great music and performances.
I'm VERY jealous. VERY.
