Sunfire Theater Grand MkII Pre/Pro

For sale is my flawless (9.5 out of 10) Sunfire Theater Grand MkII pre/pro. It was aquired as part of a deal that also brought me my Cinema Grand 200x5, which is replacing my Sig 400x7. It is truly a spectacular piece that looks as if it was just opened for the very first time. I was told it was hardly ever used, and the touch screen remote still has the packaging film still covering the touchpad. It comes with the original manual, packaging, and power cord.


These pictures were takes directly after removing it from the box. All of the marks that appear in the pics are DUST particles and fingerprints. There are NO SCRATCHES! It was imediately clear that the original owner took great care of his equipment. I am planning on running it in my rig for a couple weeks(my TGP5 is going in for some work) and once it is returned I will return it to the packaging and send it to it's new home. I am asking 450.00 plus shipping for it, and will personally guarantee no DOA and that it's condition will be even BETTER than when I took it out of the box.

Also for sale is my Parasound Z-Phono pre as I have upgraded to a new cartridge that works quite nicely with the Sunfire's Phono stage. It is in like new condition as well, and I am asking 85.00 plus shipping for that. I have manual but no original packaging.

All inquiries are welcome, but I do reserve the right to work with members in good standing before those that have just joined looking for a good deal....

    Just wanted to add that this Pre-Amp is the 19" wide model and NOT the 17" "Architect's" series.

    I'm not real familar with this unit. Does it have a two-channel analog bypass mode like the later models? Thanks,

    Thanks for the question Larry... It does have a source-direct mode and a stereo mode.

    no... I have replaced it with a Cinema grand 200x5 and Stereo Grand Signature 600x2. I wanted to add a bit more flexibility to my setuo and improve two channel performance. Also, having a pair of these amps in my stack of stuff looks most impressive.:)

    Another quick question for you. To get the best video possible (full 1080p hdmi 1.3) with your unit, does this mean I will need to get an external Video Processor & HDMI Switch (like the DVDO Edge)?

    that would be correct. there is no internal HDmI in this unit.

    I doubt you will find many in MINT condition for $450.00 on Audiogon :)
