Opposite from the EC is an 8' opening to the 13' x 14' dining room. I had not been happy with the confused imaging of my SDA 1Bs; I think they need a 16' clear expanse of wall to function well. I was awaiting time and money to rebuild the crossovers. But if these would fit better I would go for them. Will these work better on a 13' wall?

    Personally I would not know, but you would probably get better results if you posted this question in its own thread in the vintage area.
    Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else - :rolleyes:

    I have done that. Incidentally, these SDA 2s do not have the interconnect cable.

    he's been listing those over and over for a couple months now. i asked him if he could deliver to NYC, he said they wouldn't fit in his car, so this is really strictly local pick up only.

    Carver Amazing Speakers 450 bucks - no pictures, but seems like a good price. Also has Carver amps, preamps, etc. Seems like that isn't the best deal, but maybe you could steal it all for less than he wants.

    I know these aren't the be-all end-all in headphones, but i just got my set in yesterday, been listening to them all day at work just through the jack on the computer, and they sound GREAT. Especially for the price. Can't wait to get home and try them out on the B&K with the 1/4" jack. Comfy as hell, and sound good enough that it's got me itching to build a dedicated headphone rig. :D I will probably never go back to earbuds.

    Hahaha, touche. Ah well, i like my playstation. :D I figured for the price, i couldn't really go wrong, and i sure didn't. They don't go quite as low as what they replaced, but they're a very easy to listen to pair of cans.

    Those meters are awesome, when you turn them on they start out orange until the amp is ready then they turn green!!:D
