Very nice condition, have heard slight static when first powering up, but it goes away in a minute later.

Sounds great, great headphone amp, MM and MC phono amp.

    Hey Russ, what you think of this paired up with a 545 on some 10A's? Never heard any NAD gear.

    I have used a NAD 1130 pre with 10's and the sound is very nice very similiar to the 1300

    I have ad this pair up with 555 545 and the 535 I am selling, it's a good match.

    For a 100.00 it's worth a try lol

    Thanks Russ. Im gonna hold off for now and use my AVR as my pre until i decide what route i want to go.

    It's a helluva deal on a nice piece of gear. Someone needs to buy this (not me..I have too much stuff already). For $100 it is a no-brainer IMO.

    The 1300 was NAD's top of the line pre-amp back in the days when making a top of the line pre-amp mattered.

    The 1300 guts are incorporated in the 7600 receiver and 1700 pre-amp/tuner both of which I own) and both are wonderfully quiet, neutral and durable components that have served me since 1987 with ZERO problems.

    I'd personally buy it in a heartbeat if I needed a 3rd system.

    That's a great little pre-amp from NAD.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
