16 Ohm LSi 5.25" Driver

Does any one know if Polk makes a 16 ohm version of the aerated polypropylene drivers that are in the LSi series? I have sent the tech support folks at Polk the same question, but I thought I would ask it here too...
HT: Ninja Master LSi9s, Ninja Master LSiC, Slightly Modded LSiFXs, Modded LSi7s, Outlaw LFM-1 EX and Polk PSW125
Outlaw 970 Preamp, Outlaw 7700 Amp, Velodyne SMS-1, Oppo BDP-83,
2 APC H-15s and a Panamax 5400 for good measure ;)
Stereo: DIY Alix Music Server, DODD Audio Battery Tube Buffer, Modded DAC-60 and MF V-Link (for now), DIY Silver ICs, Battery Powered Class D SDS-254 Amp, and GR-Research N2X Speakers

    I doubt it, but now need to ask what are you trying to do?

    I can't fully let the cat out of the bag yet, but, it involves more extensive mods to the LSi series...

    Ok so my next question is.... Does anyone build a 16 ohm speaker today? 40 to 50 years ago 16 ohm was common finding one today??????

    No. There are similar drivers out there that are 8ohms though.

    Yes, hardly anyone though. It's almost as bad as finding a decent 8ohm tweeter.
