Rti38s vs Fxi30s

I'm set on purchasing Rti70s for the fronts (still looking for best price!) and Csi40 for the center. Haven't put too much thought into a sub yet (any suggestions?).

My main question is concerning the rears. Should I got Rti38s or Fxi30s for the best surround sound?

    Both speakers will have the similar tonal quality and will match your front soundstage perfectly in that respect.

    I think there's two main factors in direct firing vs dipole/bipole
    1. source preference - most people who listen to music more like direct firing, where di/bipole often give you better ambience for movie soundtracks

    2. Room placement. If you sit in the middle of the room, di/bipoles usually make more sense. If you sit against the back wall, I prefer front firing, as they can fire at each other above your head, where bipoles on the rear wall would be to close to your listening position and draw too much attention to themselves; and dipoles on the side walls would neet to be a good few feet in front of you, which isn't very good.
