Rogue Audio Ninety-Nine - Magnum - Linestage Tube Preamplifier - 9/10 - Silver - *SOLD*
I've had this for about 8 months since Matt Polk refuses to return my Audio Research pre-amp
It's very responsive to tube rolling and I'll throw in a new quad of matched, Electro-Harmonix spares. I've really enjoyed the sound and the fit and finish is top notch. The guts are super nice with a toroid transformer and the even better idea...outboard power supply. It comes with a metal, remote control for the couch potato's or as I refer to them...the smart folks.
If you want to add the phono stage, it's modular and plug and play for install. I've seen them used for $150-200.
It's a perfect match to Usher Audio loudspeakers

If I didn't just pick up a Dodd MLP pre, I'd have been all over this like a fat kid on a Snickers and just snagged it from you while I was up.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Thanks Wes

It appears our own George Daniel is going to take this for a test run and roll a gamut of 6SN7's in the process. Thanks George!
I left the stock tubes in place, ditch them for now and try some Tung-Sol, NOS RCA or NOS Raytheon. Let me know how it goes.
