Rogue Audio Ninety-Nine - Magnum - Linestage Tube Preamplifier - 9/10 - Silver - *SOLD*

I've had this for about 8 months since Matt Polk refuses to return my Audio Research pre-amp :) It's very responsive to tube rolling and I'll throw in a new quad of matched, Electro-Harmonix spares. I've really enjoyed the sound and the fit and finish is top notch. The guts are super nice with a toroid transformer and the even better idea...outboard power supply. It comes with a metal, remote control for the couch potato's or as I refer to them...the smart folks.

If you want to add the phono stage, it's modular and plug and play for install. I've seen them used for $150-200.

It's a perfect match to Usher Audio loudspeakers :D

Beautiful pre-amp! Incredible sounding also. I've always been amazed out how good my Rogue 66 Magnum sounds, and this pre notches it up several levels.

Rolling some Tung-Sol tonight.....nice. I think the 6SN7 is an unloved tube sometimes.

This is still available....I've had enough fun with it now. If you don't have some 6SN7 in your tube locker, get them eventually.

If this was balanced, I'd be working out any way Mark might let me pay him back....short of sexual favors.

    Free bump.

If I didn't just pick up a Dodd MLP pre, I'd have been all over this like a fat kid on a Snickers and just snagged it from you while I was up.

It appears our own George Daniel is going to take this for a test run and roll a gamut of 6SN7's in the process. Thanks George!

I left the stock tubes in place, ditch them for now and try some Tung-Sol, NOS RCA or NOS Raytheon. Let me know how it goes. The adjustable gain selector came in pretty handy for me.
