Audioquest Mammoth 10 ft speaker cables

Up for sale are a pair of 10 ft. Audioquest Mammoth speaker cables with spades on both ends. The logo is wearing off on the plastic cable covers and there is a little bit of fraying of the cable sheath on one cable. The spades are fully functional, but have scuffs from use over the years. They have been cleaned with CAIG gold.

These are from the Earth Feature series and are a step below the Caldera. Made of counter spiral octohelixes, whatever that means. All I know is it sounds great. It's a very neutral cable with great bass extension and open detailed mids and highs. The name fits the cable since it is fat and the conductors are nice and large, which probably helps with it's meaty and tight bass. I'm confident these are the best AQ cables for under $250. You would have to step up to the Caldera in their line to get a better cable.

I bought these a week ago from A'gon and they absolutely will not work with my setup. They sound great with my LSi15's, so I tried moving some equipment around, but the location of my components mean that I need longer cables. The 15 foot pair on A'gon just sold a day ago, so I'm trying to find a longer pair.

$245 shipped and Paypal'd

Don't really expect these to sell here, but a bump anyway before A'gon

    $225 shipped and Paypal'd

These are a step above the Type 8 and others like Granite, Bedrock, etc., simply classic neutral Audioquest

That's a very nice pair of speaker cables.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

If the forecast wasn't so bad, I would have bought them already. Killer set.

Yea, the audio market definitely isn't at it's peak right now. But shoot me a PM if you wanted to work out a payment plan or anything. I have no problem doing that for established folks.

Thanks for welcome...NJPOLKER - luckey You! I wanted to pair them with my new speakers - Diapason Adamantes LE (YEAH!) :) . It would be great match for start i guess, but now i have to look at some other place for them, or eventually, to substitute them with Audioquest Midnight cables (for start, ofcourse, till i get better cables, matching system exquisite performance level). Anyway, could You throw a few words about them, for example, could You compare them to some Purist Audio speaker cables, such as Musaeus or similar, if You had oportunity to audition them...I am also interested in theory (is that really the truth i wanna know), that Audioquest Volcano is nothing else, then upgraded Mammoth with 72V DBS and better termination and ofcourse, several times higher price :)...

I can't do a true comparison between any of the cables used so far. Reason being is I have made numerous changes/upgrades in my system to honestly say much one way or another. I've changed out tubes in my pre-amp, changed capacitors in my tube pre-amp & crossovers and now just getting to the point they are properly burned in.
    Good luck
