    It's going to be a long 24hrs...
John, it's funny you mention sleeping pills. I just had a script. filled today for some. Finally!!!!I've had a frozen shoulder since Sept. It was manipulated 2 weeks ago to free it up. I have not slept for more than 3 hrs. at a time since sept.
There has been bumbling medical personel making this a prolonged ordeal. That's another story though.

I should drift off to Magnetic Powerfield Transformer Land shortly.....:D

:( I have to wait another 8 to 24 hrs. more. The #1 guy went and liked the amp and now has to get his WAF to pay for it.. What a great guy for alowing him more time to persuade his wife...I'll know by tomorrow afternoon for sure.
My wife shook her head slowly, then gave me a little LOOK, after I told her what the price was but she's ok with it.:D

I forgot to say this man has loved Carver amps enough to have owned seven or more and he said this is the finest that he has owned.I didn't ask him why he was selling it but he did say Bob Carver just went through it and it sounds better than when it was new. Why sell it then I ask myself...I do get to hear it before purchasing so...we'll see;)

He signed all signature series amps personally. The one that sold on Agon was also signed on the top with his standard "to..., Enjoy the music! Bob Carver"

well guys.. You have made my year. Thanks again John! And thanks to John who had to sell it because he's going down under very soon mates.John and his wife were the most gracious of people to have met and spend hours with.I wish we(my wife and me)could have stayed all day!
The amp is here at my house now plus he discounted his Pioneer elite dvd player so I could bring it home too.
The Amp is ALOT bigger than I had imagined. The pictures on the internet don't do it justice! He had it playing and when he put in Diana Krull( my first experience hearing her) and the system along with this amp made it sound like she was on stage ,7 ft. infront of me LIVE....It was an experience to marvel at.I said wow about 7 times before our conversation took more attention than the music.
He had a pair of Legacy Focus's that he hated to part with.He said they were perfect and had even added a twin 15" Legacy sub to go down to 10 HZ. if needed. I wish I could have afforded his awsome pre-amp that he said was an 8,000 value (because of upgrades inside it )for 1500.00 also.
My God has smiled down on me(thank you nooshinjohn! I owe you too!:D)

    I will. ...
P.S. He (John) said he tried selling the amp on Audiogon and for a little more $ though and nobody emailed him.I think that's the way it was and why he tried Craigs list 2nd for a little less. He said Carver replaced the caps. and gave me the reciept with what they did and all the figures.I'll look at it closer later. oh yeah, he had the glass plate but not the owners manual. I'd like to get a copy somehow....

I write more as soon as I can this week with pictures too.

By the way ,it was a 400 mile round trip(I got a little lost) ,but I'm not complaining AT All.:D

This amp is the first edition I'm finding out and I found a Carver site that after joining, I'll be able to download there too if need be... They seem to be like Polk Audio in their cust. serv. standards...Very High.:)
