I had spent time with AH, but found their Polk bias intolerable. That's why I came over here, to learn more about Polks. In the 90's I worked for a regional electonics shop that carried Polks. These speakers sold themselves, first on name, second on sound and third on price. Polk is a prime example of capitalism done right. The best sound, at the best cost for the masses. Does life get any better!

For what it is worth, I put together two HT systems for friends using the Polk Monitor 60's (FL/FR) and Monitor 20's (surrounds) and the CS2 center. Never had AH'ers dinging the selection. These are great speakers for the budget.
Also went with the eD A2-300. My friends had a budget and looked at Infinity also. -
Sounds like my surround system...except for the M70s up front--I do like them better than the 60s as stand alones in 2 channel. Also like the cascade crossover it helps with imaging and high/mid balance.
Haven't spent much time on Audioholics...I have seen the occasional Polk bashing. But not always. Who knows...I hear one of our members might be planning some clandestine activity there?

We looked at the M70's but since it was mostly HT the 60's worked out just fine. The difference paid for the interconnnects. Luckily we were able to get the Marantz 4002 receiver. Nice solid peice of equipment that.
AH is fine as is AVSForum and Home Theater Shack. If you are into Home Theater PC's check out thegreenbutton.com. As with all forums you will see some friction. Now since AH is selling product (not only doing banner ads) I keep that in mind when reading editorial content.
