NAD amplifiers

The 317 is a nice integrated amp. On the other hand...that particular CDP was not one of NADs best efforts. It is at least a 10+ year old entry level model and I tend to stay away from CDPs that old. It will probably be ok but I worry about the lasers and such on one that old. I would have suggested one of it's successors like the 521i or 521BEE (especially the 521BEE) as they are considered to be a couple of NAD's best entry level CDPs.
The tuner is about 25 ± years old, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Some of the best tuners around are old school. If it is in good shape, it may be a nice tuner.
I have used Signal Cable speaker cables with my NAD 2 channel setup for quite some time. IMO the SC sound as good or better than the AudioQuest speaker cables I've used with my NAD gear."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

Hard Marky, I have a 30wpc NAD power amp, and a 40wpc NAD power amp. Both around here someplace. I also have a very nice 7130 receiver that I paid too much for. I bought it, a Yamaha cassette deck, a Yamaha cd player, and a B&O turntable, $2 for the entire system. I'm pissed I didn't get a nice pair of speaks included in the price. Small Polks, AR's, something like that. -

Yeah, it is an entry level and old. He is only asking $50 so I thought I would try it anyway until I can upgrade.
Thanks for the good info.
Signal is the way I was leaning, so very good to hear your possitve comments about that. Thanks! -
Yeah Kex, the tuner is very old but made the top 50 of all time on http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/standings.html#22
Just got the amp and cd player hooked up and when I fired them up...a big smile appeared on my face.
These 2 components are in near perfect condition. Very pleased with the deal I got today.
I can already tell NAD is my kind of gear, and they look way better in person than online pictures portray them. Very sweet sound IMHO. -
This NAD is rated 80 watts per channel...
After just listening for an hour or so (ears ringing), I must agree all watts are not created equal.
Those are some killer 80 watts.
