With much remorse I am offering my first and favorite tubed mono's.They were upgraded by Benny @ Modular Electronics last year,, he had them for quite a while,as he wanted them to be "perfect" when I got them back.I honestly have more( in them than I am asking. They use 6L6 output tubes and 12AT7 inputs. They have been serviced and checked out fine. The output tubes should be changed in about 6 months.Typical life of these tubes in this amp is about 18-24 months.Local pickup is preferred, but I will ship at the buyers expense. No, they are not the prettiest of amps, but what they lack in looks,,they sure as hell make up for in other areas.;)
Thanks for looking,, pm if interested,, no trades etc.
I will also be listing these on A'gon.

George

I have a couple of questions that may sound crazy. However, I do not know anything about tube amps.

    1. If I purchased these, what type of pre-amp would I need?
    2. Will these amps work with the Polk RTI12 speakers?
    3. Can a subwoofer be used with this setup?
    4. Can these amps be used with Polk SDA SRS 1.2TL's?

These amps got my interest. However, I do not know what is needed to go with them.

    Sorry for sounding clueless.

A seperate pre amp works best,,these worked great with a Belles 20a,,Eastern Electric Minimax,,etc

Yep in the RTI's on the SDA's you would need the "non common ground" interface

You really want a sub with the SDA's ?

No sub with the SDA. However, possibility of sub with RTI12's.

Will the Carver CT-17 work with these?

How many watts (rms) do they produce at 4/6/8 ohms?

Where are you located for local pickup?

    Thanks in advance

Damn George, have you lost your mind

You'd want something a lot better than that. The VTL 2.5 would do the trick.

George, are these the amps you had at Carverfest? If so, I agree with Jesse, you're nuts. What are you getting that would be better? Wish I had the bucks, these are really sweet amps.
