I just had a little home party and my friends little boy cranked the system all the way but before it shut down it blew two tweeters on the two pair of RTA 12c's I have! Will RDO194's work and were is a good supplier! Ty for any info!

    First of all, make sure that the polycaps aren't blown. They are there to protect the tweeters from blowing out. bypass the polycaps and see if you have any sound.

    The polycap is the blue part in the middle of the board right above the R1 resistor.... It may be mustard colored on some speakers...

    If you have sound, you just need to replace the polycaps or just bypass them as is recommended for better sound (but then you would lose any safety protection in the future).

    If the speakers are indeed blown, the RDO-194s can be purchased from Polk Customer Service. Make sure you mention you are a club member to obtain the club discount.
