Serious inquiries only please! This is a deal for those who know. This is copy from the original CL ad

I picked these up last weekend...125 pounds each built as a kit by the original owner, has up graded mids...I got em at $250 and will pass it on to anyone local.....heck drivers are worth twice that...will post for more on CL or the gon next week....sound great I just like the other 2 pairs of towers I have right now better and no reason for these to sit unheard...The builder did not hook up any of the stupid adj knobs or the switch on the speaker plate...crossovers were all upgraded when built so he doesnt have a lot of the problems other kits had..just wired from crossover to drivers

    Pictures? :D

Are there specs anywhere else i could look at? I'm not 100% sure how i could even get these home yet, but i have a feeling i'm going to be mad if i don't at least make an attempt. I need to measure and see if i can even fit them in my space, too.

    But yes. Pictures? :D
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Sounds like a helluva lot of speaker for $250! Would love to see some pics. I couldn't find any of that model online.

These were a kit, really too many drivers for me, 2 morel tweeters a ribbon tweet, 2 mids 2 woofers and a large passive.....for a total of 8......nothing like the pic above..my camera at work...one woofer over the over, then the 2 mids side by side above the woofers then the 2 tweeters side by side above the mids, with the ribbon inbetween the 2 tweets and a passive and the bottom
muddy sounding to my ears............my old abused ears...........

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

It is a term that is slang but used for speaker designs that incorporate multiple drivers in a single cabinent more than the typical 2 or 3 way design that you see today, Sansui amongst others were famous for having several woofers mid woofers mid ranges and more than one type of tweeter.

Also a term for japanese theater :)

Thanks. I am highly intrigued even though they are in such bad shape with dead passives, a dead 15", and a non-factory replacement of the other 15" and 12's. Customer service has been great from Brian as well.
