    Looks good brotha.

Why aren't those 'spare' RT16's in the bedroom, with say an old Marantz 2252 or some such?

    Cheers,
    Russ

Space......Have a mini H/K Festival 60 system on my dresser in there. To each side, I've got a LOT of boxes for all my stuff. I have like ZERO storage here.........

The plan is to eventually use them as rear surrounds in a bigger place.

Very nice, Brett! wire management at its best. Did Dan send your Wire Management certificate yet? ;) how's the noise from the fan? that's very nicely done, I wish I could have a space behind the cabinet to mount the fan...great job!
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    Thanks Polkatese.....

The fan that is mounted in the pic is actually what I took from a store of ours that we closed down. It has a very slight noise, but considering that I live in AZ and have oscillating fans on all the time anyway, I don't hear it at all. At the time of the pic, I only had one, so I went to go and get a second one from Fry's Electronics. I connected theirs and it sounded like the thing was gonna overload and blow up. It went back so I was down to one until I got another couple from another store we closed. You absolutely could have the space for a fan. They only stick out MAYBE 1.5". Is your stand directly against the wall? Give it another 1.5" to clear and you'd be fine with your stand 3" from the wall.....

Brett, unfortunately my wall unit is custom made, recessed into a wall cutout. Right now, I have a free standing mini computer fan sitting on top of the power amp, blowing air toward the front opening. It works fine, but not elegant by any means....

Is there a trick to make the red "SYSTEM" icon show up on the line with Profile, Search, Buddy? I don't see anywhere to indicate if you have a system in the showcase or not........

Brett nice job man! Don't think you can ever have too many pics.

In my case "cable management" led to "anger management".

By the way how did you get your pics on? I'm having trouble since the forum went down yesterday.

put 2 fans on top of the amp, blowing towards on each side, at different ends of the amp...it works well...

Justin did something that allowed me to post them. It wouldn't work until he did something, which I thought he did to the system, not me specifically. Ya might wanna send him an email telling him you're having problems.

    Frank,
VERY nice replacement to the chairs that we've talked about in the past. Not too bad on pricing either. Here's the line of chairs that I've been looking at for a while, but at $1000 a chair, I'm holding off. They are relaxing as hell though, that's for damned sure. They're made by Lafer, and my favorite is the Liza Model with the tiltable headrest. They lay virtually horizontal and you'd think that you're gonna fall backwards, but ya won't......

    Brett,
    You've got mail!

Some of the chairs in that link look very similar to the ones I'm getting. I like the hidden leg rest, I won't be taking up as much space with the ottomans anymore. Feels kinda cramped with them in there now.
