I'm bored while waiting for the wife to get done with a telephone job interview and I started musing about who would play what roles. These are the ideas I have so far:

Col. Hogan- George Clooney
Col. Klink- William Hurt
Sgt. Schultz- Dan Goodman
Helga- Kristin Chenoweth
Gen. Burkhalter- Charles Durning
Major Hockstetter-
Kinchloe- Forest Whitaker
Carter-
LeBeau-
Newkirk-

Not a remake of "Hogan's Heroes", but see Greg Kinnear in "Auto Focus"

I'm trying to picture William Hurt and John Goodman with german accents. Goodman yes, Hurt I just can't. Hurt isn't weasly enough to play Klink Goodman is perfect for Shultz though. "I know nuthink!!!". I'm thinking James Woods for Klink.

Stalag 17 was made in 1953, Hogan's heroes aired from 1965-71.

James Woods as Col. Klink, and Jonas Hill as Sgt. Schultz. John Goodman would be good as Gen. Burkalter
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!
