Wait... i'm not sure if he did cannibalize the Infinity IRSs... wtf are those servo-thingymajiggers.

Ah ok, the Infinity bass drivers are actually 6! Infinity SSW-210 subs. WTF do you need THAT for?!?!?

Personally i got the willys at this:
To start with let me say I studied at MIT under the famous Emil Bose in 1975 and have been building my own state of the art speakers even longer than that

Glad he used monster cable on the "spare no cost" speakers. It looks the RCA speaker cable you can get down at home depot. And you can call him on is iPhone, cause any other phone is not worthy of these speakers! :)

That center looks like a Yamaha or Technics speaker from the 70's. Also, why is it so high?

    Has anyone here ever heard of this guy? He seems to think highly of himself;
Many of you out there know me from my previous posts on various places on the net (I am not hard to find) and you can find out a lot more about me and the speakers I design buy just searching the net on the usualy plces that this kind of stuff is posted.

BTW those speakers look like they would be a **** to take apart for shipping as well as putting them back together. I also wonder what hoops you would have to jump through to set them up and tweak out. Another thought, it looks like you would need a power amp with atleast 1000 watts to drive them.

I know nothing really of these speakers, only that I would not spend 5 grand on something which uses wing-nuts to connect Monster wire together. But hey, the seller has 1691 red stars, so it must be a good investment.

"You can find more information about me and the speakers I build by searcing the normal places audiophiles search on the net.

    I am fairly well known.

I have built a lot of stuff.

I am a doctor by trade and only do this as a hobby so each speaker I build is a labor of love and not built for profit."

I am placing a bid right after I send this.....

I think he pushed that Yamaha NS series from the late 70's up in the corner to gain a little bass out of it. Those were and are awesome speakers!

There are certain things doctors do well, and they are done in hospitals or clinics, not so sure his cabinet and hardware abilities are aesthetic LoL

Must be fun to tinker like that but size doesn't always make up for quality of sound!

WTF? This guy seems a bit confused about how ebay works.

Generally when you have something listed, and no one shows any interest in it...you then relist it with a lower price. Not at twice the price you were asking before...lol

Oh well...at least ebay will still get their listing fees out of it I guess...lol

If you read through the first auction, at the very bottom, it states that it was for the midrange/HF setup only.

The new auction states "This time it's for everything... " and then goes on about all the garbage it comes with. I guess the subs are worth as much as the rest of it, to him.

Honestly, I would think that this probably wouldn't sound too bad... if you had the gymnasium to set it up in.
    Ludicrous gibs!
