Timbre match center for R15's
I'm trying to go on the cheap by reusing my R15's as fronts in a 5.1 system. I acquired a used psw350 and I'm looking for a center. Would the C2 be a good timbre match for the R15's? How about a csi5?
Thanks,
Pete

thats the matching center for R series and will fit within your budget
CS2 will be a over kill -
Right on! Thanks. The description says csm, is this the same as a csr?
Thanks again,

The csm would probably work fine, but is not an EXACT match with the r-15s. You will want a csr http://www.crutchfield.com/S-t7L4noYUiL2/p_107CSR/Polk-Audio-CSR.html for a perfect match with the r-15s. The csm matches the m10s perfectly. Again, minor differences and it might not be worth the price difference considering what polk is selling the csm for. Yes did not realise that it was csm, was confused with the description which says R series center channel... in Polk eBay. -
Actually, the CSM *is* the correct match for the R15. The R-series uses two different tweeters, which both sound significantly different to me. Here's the breakdown:
Tweeter #1: R15, T15, R30, R50, CSM, CSi25
Tweeter #2: R150, R300, CSR
I originally had a CSR with my R50's, and they sounded significantly different to me. I switched to the CSM, and they match perfectly since they use the same tweeter.
