You find a great deal and they guy made a typo in his ad on CL.....

AGGG...

A B&K Components Reference 125.2 S2 Two channel amplifier for $200

Granted it is 1 1/2 hour drive away...But I would do that for half price on an amp....

Course maybe it means I will get it, cuz no one else has gotten thru either....

I do feel sorry for the guy whose # it IS, he said his phone has been ringing off the hook all day.

    i seriously don't understand what you are talking about here. You hate it when the guy made a typo in his ad (and I suppose you know this because the guy's told you that he'd made a typo and didn't intentionally list that price) and hoping that you'd get the amp?

    I'm assuming the typo was in the phone number, and that everyone who has excitedly replied to the ad has subsequently dialed the wrong number.

    Yeah AB, it was the phone #. That is why I said I feel sorry for the guy with the number posted in the ad.

    I did hear back from the seller eventually. I am 6th on the list. Dang it. Hey, you never know, hopefully everyone else will flake out :D
