No can do guys & gals--This is supposed to be "clean up the rest of the debt/save, save, save, year" so regretfully I have to pass. If I were in a position, I'd be on it like a fat kid on a cupcake.

I don't want to muck up his sale, you all go for it. He said he's willing to hold them for you out-of-towners.

Ditto, I just don't have a room for them unless I put them in the HT system.

Damn work filter blocking the pictures.

Edit: I think we're neighbors Steve.

get'm Matt. The pics look very, very nice---they look near mint. I can't see any visable flaws by the photos.

The key to good execution on a good plan is flexibility. When opportunity knocks, you gotta answer the door.

It is a good deal. Reset you plans for debt reduction and savings by a few months, and answer the damn door.

Wish I had some time for a trip to AZ....:( My mother in law lives in Phoenix and is driving to CA in a few weeks. Maybe I can get her to put them in the back of her Saturn when she comes. :)

I moved mine in an Exploder - no problem. That's a great looking pair, I'm sure they won't last long.

I just couldn't justify it.:o I have two DIY projects I haven't even started and one that needs finished. Plus these would have been completing overwhelming in my 11'x15' listening room.

they do look to be in remarkable shape. i have a friend that tells me if i find another set of the big ones in phoenix, he WILL buy them. i want to try to convince him to go with these as his room is just a wee bit smaller than my room setup. but i'm pretty sure he wants to hold out for the biggers. ego kills many of us, doesn't it? i know i'm dying daily due to it...

    btw, we're in Tucson.

I would be very, very interested in these speakers if you would be willing to ship to zip 58501. I would do every thing I could to work with you on setting up with a shipper. I would also bet there could be a shipment damage insurance contract that I could take out, please let me know if we could work something out as I would love to have these with my polk monitor 12's that I am the original owner of and they are in mint condition and I would take care of these the same!

    Thanks (cjglke@bis.midco.net)

They are "sale pending" but not every "i" has been dotted and "t" crossed quite yet. When they are in the hands of the new owner's local contact I'll mark the thread as SOLD.

(How do I do that, by the way? Is there a menu choice where I select "SOLD")?

When it is indeed SOLD, PM one of the mods and ask them to mark it as SOLD. You can't do it yourself.

The local pick-up person didn't work out so they're going to be shipped in a few weeks. Hopefully the new buyer will have the speakers some time in April and the shipping will go off without a hitch.

EEK!!! You're shipping those monsters? Are you shipping them in their original boxes or are you having them crated? It would be a shame for such beautifully kept 2.3TLs to be damaged in shipping.

I just looked at the pictures again and they are stunning!

I just wanted to say that I'm the lucky owner of these babies!! I can't wait to get them. I've never had a pair so I'm anxious.

No worries about shipping. Dave has gone above and beyond the normal realm to insure the speakers will be shipped with no harm. We hope. He did a superb job getting them ready and they will be on a pallet by themselves strapped down. Keeping the fingers crossed!!
