Correction = The shorter one is actually 24".
Also, they were both treated with De-Oxit about a month ago.

Are you buying both? Do any current Polk members still make these?

Yes, I'm getting both. I got another project I'm workin' on.......just like the mad scientist that goes down into the basement and doesn't return for days on end.

Ben still makes these cables. He just doesn't advertise like he used too. Word of mouth is about all he needs to run on.

They are fantastic cables...only reason I am selling them and a bunch of other stuff is the money I owe to our lovely government for taxes. We owe over $1000.00...and for a poor dude like me that is a lot of money.

What are you working on, if you don't mind me asking. I'll have to see if he can make me a pair and for how much, cuz i'll need them for my TT.

I have two Anthem1 tube amps and a variety of tubes to play with that I would like to bi-amp the Linbrooks with. Don't know whether or not it will sound good yet, but it's worth a try.

    I thought I was Ben?

Hey Ben, I am looking into a good pair of IC's for my turntable. Seems you have a good reputation here for your work

How does it work? Do you charge per foot?

    $10 a foot. So a pair of 3 footers is $60

Not bad at all. I have a feeling I already know the answer, but would there be an issue with mixing interconnects? I will need two pairs, since I'm using a separate phono preamp. I have a pair of AQ vipers, but its the only pair I have.

Why are you guys wasting your time and money on these cables? There is not a cable in existance that will make any component sound better,..............right? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D(That's a joke)

OK, I might try mixing them. The AQ's were hooked up to my NAD cd player, which broke, so I don't exactly have a use for them right now. I'm using a 15 year old Kenwood 7 disk changer with a 1 bit dac I had lying around, so I doubt I need AQ's hooked up to that piece lol. Rather put the money into analog than buy a new cd player. I'll get back to you when I know how long of a pair I'll need.
