Where did you buy it and how much was it? New? Used? I am currently using a set of LSi7's as a center. with some LSi9's.

    Any pics?

Can't do much better in the HT department at their price than the LSi line. Post pictures when you get it put together.

I know it is important to have the 3 front matched for HT but not so much the rear surrounds... Are the LSi F/Xs worth the price?

They are. I have them with the LSiC and LSi9's for HT.

    They most certainly are.
I have basically the same system you're building, and I think it's very hard to beat a full LSI HT system at it's price point.
I'm considering upgrading the XO in the center channel as I feel it's the weakest link in my system.

    Thanks for all the replies...

I will be picking up the LSi/FX's soon but would need to place them on stands.

Can anyone reccomend me a pair?

Can't think of any off the top of my head, just keep in mind they are pretty beefy (24lbs. ea.) so don't skimp.

I'm following your thread with interest, acmf74.... That will be a "down the road" project for me as eventually I'll replace the Monitor 30 side surrounds with the LSi/FX's myself. I have Sanus stands that are only rated for 10lbs. so they won't do for these speakers.

I use these VTI stands with the LSIF\X speakers.
Just remeber to fill them with sand or lead shot so they don't resonate.
I attached the speaker to the stand with heavy duty double sided tape, and the speakers are very secure.

Sounds like a nice setup coming along. If your doing 7.1, consider the LSi7s and save some coin. Are you going front projector with this setup?
