I Hate People who don't cover their Cough or Sneeze!!

Seriously -

I'm sitting in Applebee's and the person at the next table is coughing nonstop, spreading germs everywhere. Two days pass by and now I have a cold.

If you are really feelling that miserable, then WHY not stay home and take a rest?

i was on a plane going to Asia (yes, across Pacific ocean) and the kid (9-10 y.o.) next to me was coughing the entire fkin time. I got stuck on that plane w/ that kid for like 15 hrs. the mother doesnt even seem to **** mind. good thing i don't get sick easily but some people are so ignorant it's unbelievable.

Exactly. If you are that sick what are you doing on a plane? The high altitudes and compressed air in the cabin are the worst for a cold - it actually makes things worse.

Plus airplanes use recirculated air...

Im in and out of financial institutions all day everyday servicing atm's, alarms etc..I must go through a big bottle of hand sanitizer every week. Some people dont give a crap who they hack all over.

Funny, I never use "hand sanitizer" and yet am never sick. I must be Superman, or that **** is making us all have no immune systems. One or the other.

Same goes for me. In fact, I can't remember the last time I even had a small cold - much less the flu. Yet it seems that everyone around me who is "super-hygienic" is always under the weather.

I react to a cougher like Howie Mandel and Tiny Tim(deceased) are/were Germaphobes.They have there money washed..Some high end hotels wash the money too.

Sneezes are the worst they say..15' radius:eek:


Now here's another thing that will make me almost gag! you should see my wife's face when it happens.:mad:
It's when a waiter, waitress or who-ever decides to sweep the floor violently while were eating close by or next to the act. Especially when they decide to brush the debri TOWARD US. I get pretty mad and they hear it most of the time! I ask DO YOU MIND WAITING UNTIL WE FINISH PLEASE! and they walk away thinking "what was wrong with me sweeping **** in their air and onto their food? Oh well..

Some will sweep ever so gently and that is just acceptable but I watch em close.;)

I get the flu maybe once every 3-4 years, and it's never a run of the mill flu... i spend a week or two completely immobile and wishing i was dead. :eek:

I'm surprised i'm not sick more often, i think the only thing going for me is my diet. I rarely get more than 3 hours of sleep a night, and i have a terrible habit of not really wearing weather-appropriate clothing.

I get a cold once a year. I attribute this to my younger son bringing home all the little kid germs (yuck) back home then touching everything in the house before washing his hands.

I've become a bit of a germaphobe in my old age. I'm always washing my hands to the point of them being raw in the summer months too.

I think when people coughs or sneezes the proper thing to do is to do it into the crux of their elbow and not in their hands.

Germaphobe signing off . . . excuse me, I gotta go wash my hands after using this keyboard and mouse.

That's interesting. I get colds occasionally, but they come and go within a few days. You get the flu once every 3-4 years, but it lasts for a week or two.

I get sick maybe once a year. I'm not what you'd call a "germaphobe" either, but I do expect people to make some sort of an effort with cleanliness and not coughing and sneezing into your face.

I ESPECIALLY dislike it when people don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. This seems to be a common problem with mechanics....at least the ones I work with.

I don't get sick easily and am not super-hygienic. I don't wash my hands before eating unless they are obviously dirty. I don't wash my hands after every bathroom visit unless I got my waste on them (my bits are far more clean than my hands... always!). I don't get flu shots, I get tequila shots. I drop food on the ground, pick it up, and eat it. I am almost never sick (taken total of 2 days off work sick in the last 9 years). I am almost the polar opposite of a germophobe without being a filthy slob. So it shouldn't bother me too much if someone sneezes near me...

not so much.

I find someone that doesn't at least cover their mouth with their hand while coughing or sneezing is extremely disrespectful and it really bugs me. Who cares how you view life and for the sake of decency sneeze/cough into your sleeve! Same goes for spitting on the ground in public or even into a garbage can. It's disgusting, it's gross, have some bloody respect!
