My first set of Polk's!

Well today was the day! I wanna send a BIG thanks to Ken (polkersince85)for hooking me up. He practically gave (and I do mean GAVE!) me a set of Monitor 10's. And on top of that, he also gave me a HK power amp to boot that I was totally not expecting. Ken is a really great guy!!
I got these home and hooked them up to an old Onkyo receiver. Listened to some Sting then some Flim and the BB's. And I am totally amazed how these sound. Such and upgrade from the old Canon TLS towers (from the early 80's) that I had been using all these years.
Next these have a date with some lemon oil. And I plan to build some stands for them. Again, Ken I am really grateful for you doing this for me!

Well after I got the Polk's home, FedEx delivers the HK AVR that I won in the Karma thread from John. So now the HK is my preamp, got the Integra hooked up and I am happy as hell! Damn, what a friggin' difference this setup makes over the old one.
And I also discovered that it was not my old AVR making the static in my old speakers. It was a damn EQ! lol--Gary--
