Center speaker for rt1000's

I recently purchased a pair of rt1000's. Polk rec the cs400i but are there any other current models that would work as well?

    Are there any models in the current line that work with the older rt1000's?

    I would be okay finding older cs4xx or whatever but just in case I don't...?

    The CS400 would be your best bet honestly. The ones we mentioned will be cheaper, and have a matching tweeter..which is most important.

    I agree it's better to have a matched center. I'll see what is avail on the net and go from there. Worst case if I run out of patience I'll look at other alternatives.
