What's up with LG LED TV?

I met a LG rep while he installed the LG 47LH80 ( LCD)right on top of the 47LH90 (LED). He used the demo disk that showed the pictures that showed half of the top part on the 47LH80 ( LCD) and half of the bottom part of the same pictures on the 47LH90 ( LED).

I asked him why the picture and color of the LG 47lh80 ( LCD)is more realistic and better than the LG 477LH90 ( LED) and advised him to check his set up so the promotion for the LED would make sense.

The poor LG rep spent over half an hour but the LH 47LH80 ( LCD) still looks better than the supposed-to-be better LED 47LH90. Finally, he gave up and the demo stays as is. Not so much room to improve for the new LG LED technology.:D

It depends on your taste. Some of the new LED TV's I have seen the picture almost looks too "real" and it kinda creeps me out, lol. Guess it will take some getting used to. Imma stick with my Sony SXRD until the end, lol. I love that TV!!

On the contrary, I believe the Samsung LED UN55b6000 (120Hz) and the Un55b8000(240 hz) are worth the money not the LG 47LH90.
