polk just shipped my refurbished rti12's in cherry today and i suddenly am lost as to which surrounds i should get. The monitor 70s are the same price as the TSi300s and are WAY more speaker. The receiver i am buying is the VSX-21THX from pioneer with 110wpc. I will later be amping up the rti12s. I also bought a cs10 compulsively for a $100 a week ago and i think i might eat the 10% restocking fee and buy the CS2 in cherry (sorry i can not find a CSi3 or CSi5 in cherry and i want it all to match, plus i cant afford a CSi A4 or A6 right now). i already have a yammy sw315 sub sitting at home also. The living room is about a 17x10ft room. man oh man am i stoked for my first system =)

look@ my sig, those speakers rock.....i would strongly suggest an amp,i added one thru my hk 354 avr and the difference is HUGE!
as far as the center,i got the csi3 but the 2 should be fine.
I would go with the 70s on the rears,im debating rti8s or those same 70s

    enjoy the system!

They will be fine, the 70's are a very easy speaker to push. May be a bit of overkill though, IMHO. Not much is going to the surrounds and seems to me like a lot of speaker for what you will be getting out of them. IMHO it would be a better idea to sink that money into a matching center. The CSi5 is the matching center for your 12's and can be had for $250 from Onecall. Your room isn't overly huge and the FXi5' are the matching surrounds for your 12's but timbre matching isn't as important with the surrounds as it is with the front 3. Hope this helps and welcome to Club Polk.
