Hi,
I posted these before and was not sure how to edit or change the previous listing, so I am reposting them in a new thread. I had these posted for $350 dollars, but since I would rather see them sold than sit, I figured I would lower the price for members.
They are black and in near perfect condition, except for some small nicks along the back edge, and a small glue spot from a sticker from the shop where I bought them and was too lazy to remove completely with some goo gone. ( I will do this before they are sold!!)
I am selling these at a small loss, as I paid the equivalent of $350 dollars for them. (200 cash and a pair of Snells that cost me $150 bucks). I also have an additonal pair of SL-6000 tweeters that I was going to include in the original post, that I will still include with this one.
All drivers are perfect, and the sound will have things falling off of the walls. These are perfect for 2-channel systems as a subwoofer will not be neccessary with these.
I have never used these as HT speakers, but I am sure they would make really nice fronts, crossed over @60 to 80 hz, to let the midrange shine.
I did power these with a vintage JVC high current integrated amp at 105 wpc with absoultely no problems.
These are located in Philadelphia, and as well with my RTi8's, I can deliver within a 50 mile radius of Philly. If you want, you can always demo them at my house.
I will probably keep either pair that does not sell first, because I always like to have 2 pairs of fronts to switch up when the mood hits.
I have pictures in my other post if you would like to see them. I may have to delete it to post them here. I will update if I can.
