AD says "These speakers were custom built at Polk Audio on Park Blvd in St. Petersburg, Fl. "
Does Polk even have a plant in FL????????

And they say they refoamed them...IDK Polk has ever made a Foam surround, definitely not 9 years ago. And they don't look like any Polks I have seen.

My 25 year old Polks say Polk Audio on the front and have a serial number on the back. The plate on the rear looks like a DIY job too. You are not wrong.

I think there is a "Polk County", FL. Maybe some small business used a little trade mark infringement in naming their operation. If so, good thing they did not decide to call it "Polk Monster Audio".:D

They aren't Polk loudspeakers and the fact he stated they were hand built in the Polk factory in Florida, or something of that nature, is completely false.

It's not the craziest Polk ad I've seen but wish I saved it....anyone get a copy of the written portion?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

All the Polk Gurus and Masters have been on vacation for the last couple years, or they might have picked up on this earlier.
