Hello all , from Northwest Indiana.
My names Eric and I've had my Polks since something like 1990. If I recall correctly , they are 10B's. Does that sound like a correct model #.
I discovered "Polk" when my buddy next door ( college dorm ) had a pair of bookshelf Polks that let me hear what Bob Seger was supposed to sound like.
It was love at first listen .....
Since then , "life" has kept me from building the system I really want , but regardless , I have never needed anything more in the speaker area.
To this day , when I find the time to sit and actually listen (alone ....quietly ... without Mama or the kid asking 201 questions ...) to a decent recording , these speakers still impress me and bring a smug smile to my face.
As far as my screenname , the Hoosier portion is from my states nick name and the Bronco portion comes from my other hobby , classic Ford Broncos , 1966 to 1977 to be exact.
Till later ,
Eric

Welcome to CP Eric! Ya, you'll find out here that wants seem to become needs as far as audio goes. I've had Polks for a number of years as well, since around 1988, and the better equipment you have hooked up to them the better they sound, regardless of age.
Have fun learning and spending your $$$!Remember, when you're running from something, you're running to something...-me -

Welcome!
If your 10B's have the Peerless tweeters, (black dome), don't even think about changing them. You won't find a better replacement, plus the RDO's won't fit. If the SL200's with the silver dome, then the RDO's are an option._________________________________________________
