Monitor 10 and 5B's for sale

I have decided to downsize some of my speaker collection because I am running out of room in my family room. So I am selling my Monitor 10 and 5B speakers to make room. I am looking to sell both sets for 225.00 for polk forum members. The deal is cash and carry. I don't want to ship the Monitor 10's, maybe the 5's. I would like to sell both sets to someone. They are a matching set in Rosewood. I live about 10 miles away from Scranton Pa. I will let them run for a week before I put them on ebay. Thanks.

    Great deal...too bad I'm 12K miles away? I'd take both off your hands at that price as my sister lives in the Scranton area and I often visit her!

    I messaged you about the 10s awhile back....know it is a pain...but could you PM me on what you would want for them and we can figure some shipping? I have shipped 10s in the past for about 35-40 a piece. Kansas City area.

    The 10's and the 5's are available. I would be willing to ship the 5's but not the 10's. Both speakers sound great. I hate to see them go. I will sell the 10's for 175.00 because that is what I paid for them and the 5's are 80.00 plus shipping. If bought locally together, I will sell both for the original 225.00 price. Thanks.

    If you power those 5's with a small tube amp,you are gonna really be surprised.Mine were like "mini sda's",,really,,no kidding,,these little puppies will surprise you.

    The Monitor 10's have been sold to Tubebu02. It was a pleasure. The monitor 5's are available. Fomoco69 shipping to California would be expensive and would be across country to ship. I would hate to see something happen to them. If you are still intersted, let me know but it will be expensive. Donflame good to hear you got the Monitor 5's they are excellent speakers. I know I will miss mine but I really listen to my SDA speakers most of the time so these are not being used much. I would rather see someone enjoy them. I will keep my Monitor 7's with the peerless tweets just so I can listen to the old monitor series from time to time.

    does everthing work on the monitor 10 i have pair monitor 10 i need parts for them i need tweeter for them i got the from flea marker for 40.00 i want the 10 monitors i have pair cerwin vega they have junk sound i hate them i want polk audio in my room i live in tulsa oklahoma

    In the extremely unlikely event that these don't sell. I'll be driving back home through the Scranton area some time in July! Would have no problem picking these up.

    I am a little surprised I still have them maybe I will try ebay. I would like to keep them in the club if possible. The caps were also upgraded from the previous owner.

    I'm with George all the way with this one. I've got a pair of the 5s in the bedroom and they're an excellent speaker properly powered.

    They don't get the notoriety their big brothers get but an excellent speaker when played within their limitations.

    They should sell. Issues are mostly location, location, location, and the fact that all the major carriers have raised their rates within the last month doesn't help. Still, these are an excellent speaker and it's all about the sound.

    GOOD LUCK, and someone should grab these.
