    aw man :(
I had to go and find these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290034
darn it! HAHAHA just my luck well maybe they will be on sale again soon. Would it hurt the warranty if i died the cherry black? I'm thinking some auto vinyl / leather die would take care of that pretty cherry and i can get it in water base ( I used to detail benz and BMW ),It just will not work with my decore..
If i do the die job on them I will make a big post on how to do it..

IMHO, you may want to step up a few notches in the sub category to something like a PSW111 or a PSW505. The 111 runs about $200-$250 and the 505 is $250 from Newegg w/ free shipping. The PSW10 is a decent little sub, but I think the 70's dig lower than the 10 does, IIRC. Save up the extra cash and get the 505, you will not be dissapointed.

+1, there will not be much benefit on the low end from a PSW10 matched with a set of M70s...they both bottom at about 40hz. Whereas the PSW505 will get you to 28hz.

That PSW505 looks like a bear man I think i will set my goal for 2 of these ,What do U think?
Have you ever put your sub on top of a milk crate in the corner of the room? It adds about 18db of sound to the sub.

Yeah, the 505 is a beast and from the initial impressions of some members here, seems to be a steal at $250 shipped. Also, you may get some recommendations to look into SVS, Velodyne, and Epik if you are willing to drop $500 on two subs. Some people will say to get a used model of the above mentioned subs and call it good. That, my friend, is entirely up to you.

You can build a riser for your sub for about 10-15 dollars. They really help the sound a lot

Stacking a sub unless it is on another similar sub will probably only get you a lot of 'uncontrolled and bloated bass'.

This thread led me to the Monitor 70s at NewEgg. Thanks. I bought them and hooked them up today.

I have the PSW10. It was a gift from a friend. The 70s do not seem to need the PSW10, though the subby does add some low-end heft that helps some albums like those from the Beastie Boys.

Seems like the PSW505 would do more. Is it unethical to sell a subwoofer that was a gift? Yes. Too bad.

Thanks again for the tip about the NewEgg sale. Ended up using BillMeLater and secured a $300 price with a 90-day payment window. Sold some R50s for $80, making the total out-of-pocket price $220. For two new cherry Monitor 70s, that's really really cheap.

Let me know if there are any BillMeLater horror stories.
