Mixing FXiA6's and LSI9's
Would it be a mistake to mix a set of LSi9's and a LSi Center with a set of FXiA6 surrounds?

I ran a set of FXi6 with LSi7's and it was fine. When/if you upgrade to the LSi series for surrounds it will be an improvement, but you'll be fine mixing them IMO.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Shouldn't be a problem. I used a 400csi for my center with my LSI9's for a couple years and even that was fine. Ultimately got the LSIc mostly because of weight and size issues, plus it didn't hurt that it was a perfect tonal match.
You may want to get the LSI surrounds some day, but I think your current set up will serve you well.B&W 804s mains
