I've decided to put my RTi8's up for sale. I just don't have the room for multiple pairs of speakers in my front soundstage, and the SDA 2A's do a better job of multi-tasking between my 2 channel and HT rigs. I'd love to keep them for when I have more room, but can't justify keeping them around until then. They are some fantastic speakers though, especially for HT. I've been using them with a full RTi setup, and they do an excellent job on movie soundtracks.

Overall, they're in very good condition. There are a few nicks and small hairline scratches, but nothing that really detracts from their appearance. They're quite presentable.

The adhesive on the grille fabric is starting to come loose in a few spots. It would probably be easy enough to resecure them with a spray adhesive. I'm sure Polk has replacement grilles as well if it's that big of an issue. It's not bad enough that it ever bothered me though.

I'm gonna keep this as local pickup for right now. I'm located in Dixon, Illinois. I'm about 45 miles south of Rockford and 100 miles west of Chicago. I also may be willing to deliver or meet halfway, within a reasonable driving distance. I'd also be glad to let you demo them at my house.

    Great system starters for someone's HT chops! Easy to power too! ...Hello....? Anyone??? Rti-8s for 250....they look MINT CURT....nice shots...

    My house also had old wallpaper like that....good luck with the sale.....

    lmao...I'll get a pic of it up later. It really is some cool wallpaper...I'm not sure how old it is. It's got a continuing pattern that you can really get lost in if you're in the right "state of mind"...;)

    Thanks for the kind words. They really are in great shape. A couple nicks here and there, but nothing you're going to even notice without specifically looking for them.

    These are some great looking speakers! Real wood veneer!

    C'mon...I know someone in the mid-west needs a nice pair of speakers.

    I can deliver within reason.

    I have neither the money or the need for more speakers, but I live about 4 hours from you.... and i want them alot.

    Sorry, no amps, receivers or processors for sale. Just the RTi8's at the moment.

    Like I said before, I'd be willing to meet halfway. 4 hours away would be a bit too far to deliver though.

    I'm sure you can manage to scrape the coin up.;)

    Peerless Monitor 7A's. They're probably going to be getting upgraded XO's next year. They're some great sounding speakers...especially for the $20 I paid for them.:)

    I don't think I would be able to enjoy listening to them then, everytime that I did I would just think about the big hose in my arm and how I whored my body for sound equiptment. I hope I don't reach those depths anytime soon...

    Duell-Here are those close ups of the wallpaper that you requested...lol It is really old, I have no idea how old though. You can tell that it's really old by the fact that the glue hasn't worn out yet...lol



    Just think everyone...if you buy these speakers and come pick them up at my house, you could see this wallpaper IN PERSON!!! The pictures just don't do it justice.

    Part of the design has always remind of a Macaw's head. You can see it's eye and the curvature of the beak...it even looks kinda feathery.
