RTIA9's and Monitor?

I recently picked up a pair of RTIA9's that I will be using as fronts, replacing my monitor 70's. Before I had a CS2 upfront for the center. Do you think I would really need to upgrade to the CSi A6, or do you think the CS2 would be able to keep up? I read down the spec sheet and they are pretty close to being the same. I'm running them off a Emotiva XPA-1 for the RTiA9's and an XPA 3 for the center. So my center is lacking in terms of watts compared to my mains which are at 500W's each, but didn't know if upgrading would be really worth it for the center.
Thanks!

Bi-wire your A9's and re evaluate. Made HUGE difference on my system

You already spent a bunch of money on the Emo amps and rti a9's so you might as well finish it the right way and get the CSI a6. Yes you can get by with the CS2 but the csi a6 matches perfectly.

It probably won't be THAT much money if you sell the CS2 to fund the upgrade.

Thanks guys, I will probably upgrade sometime soon and sell off the CS2 or just keep it for a 2nd system in my bedroom, which would work just fine in there. I just didn't know how much difference it would really make in the long run.
and what are you using for Bi-wiring cables? DIY? I've heard that Bi-wiring doesn't make a lot of difference but have never tried it and seeing what bi wires are going for, such as Signal, etc. I didn't know if it would be worth trying. I just didn't want to get some and then have to turn around and get rid of them right away if I didn't like it. I know I could probably make some myself but just don't know when I'm going to find the time. :(

If you'd like to try Bi-wiring without going broke have a look at the Canare 4s11 bulk cable and terminate it yourself ;)

Let us know how those a9's sound with the xpa1's would ya?

    Tried bi-wiring and didn't notice a difference.
