Yes they are, depending on price, you may have other (possibly better) options.

So what does that mean to me, $12-$15 US per pair?

AR make some fine interconnects. I've been using there performance series for a while and can't complain.
Recently I tried a little experiment with some Radio Shack FusionAV interconnects. Their build quality is exceptional and makes my AR performance series cables look like the cheap interconnects you get when you buy a DVD or CD player. They also have external ferrite filters on the lines. Pricing is very competitive. I paid $24 for a 3 foot run. Check out the details here...Damn....8 lines...I've gotta put my sig on a diet now.... -
No complaints as I'm using their Ten Guage Master series Silver + copper stranded speaker wire !!Polk Rt800i -Fronts
Polk cs400i -Center
Polk fx500i -side surrounds
Polk rc60i -rear surrounds
Onkyo TX-NR 1009 (9.2) receiver
Velodyne cht12
Polk psw111 -
Stereophile just put a little paragraph about the AR HT130 in this months issue. They said it's "all the interconnect you'll ever need"
not too shabby for the price! I'd buy it in a heart beat after having Stereophile say that! They use STUPID amounts of expensive wire all the time!Sony KDL-40V2500 HDTV, Rotel RSX-1067 Receiver, Sony BDP-S550 Blu-ray, Slim Devices Squeezebox, Polk RTi6, CSi3 & R15, DIY sub with Atlas 15 -
Thanks everyone for your feed back.......I will probably pick up a pair or two to hook up my up and long coming separate 2ch audio system which is still in the planning stages.
Russman........your price looks even better......$15-16 US.
