    wow.. looks like i need to call new egg to see if they'll honor the new price for items i ordered last week... should have just waited a week darn it.

    well I called today and they do not honor the new price on previous purchases, even if it was just a week ago. I thought I read someone had gotten a price break for the psw 505 sub last week.. must have gotten a nice CSR b/c the one i got was adamant they do no honor it... Can't complain too much though as the prices i paid for the sub and 40s are still well below what retail was. just letting everyone know.

    I tried to get $8 back on each 70 I bought about 3 weeks ago when this price drop happened and though they said they don't honor the price match the gave me a note on my account that I can get $10 off my next purchase. This was more than fair for me... now I just need to find something I want.
