Reposting the for sale/trade listing due to the extranious conversation on the original thread and the loss of commitment from a potential buyer....

I am reluctantly offering my 1.2 tls for sale or trade. My wife wants them out for now, but assures me that I can get another pair when we move on to a bigger place. I am very interested in the 2.3TL's or the SRS 2. I am offering my TL's for 2100.00 and must be picked up, as shipping these monsters would be a nightmare. The speakers are as prettey as they come have already been upgraded to the RDO-198's, which alone are worth 400.00.
I have ordered 1 new RDO-198 to replace one that has a crease in it, as for the money I am selling them for, I would expect no less.

Sonically they are in perfect condition and come with the original interconnect and spike kit. Cosmetically they don't get any cleaner than these. See the attached pictures...

I have installed Larry's custom crossover plates, but still have the originals in near mint condition as well. They will be included with the sale. The price I am asking is what I have in them, and does not include the cost of travel to northern Michigan to get them.

For those interested I will include my SDA center for an additional 200.00, but keep in mind that I am still tweeking it a bit.

Please PM me with all offers/trade considerations.

John

$300 for original SDA-2's with Dimensional tweeters isn't exactly what I'd call cheap. I'd actually say it's a bit on the high side.

I'd say $150-200 would be more in the ball park.

Hes offering a great deal to Polk members, let it be a different story on e-prey :D If they saw this thread and the price he was giving it to us, then I doubt anyone would want to bid on them any higher than what we can get them for. I have been thinking long and hard on these speakers. I just got nailed six hundred dollars when I got my car inspected this pass Tuesday. It's just not the right time for me to buy these. I am sure someone will step up and buy these. Good luck on the sale.

Go buy your wife a massive diamond, and then after she's worn it for a week or so say, "You know what honey, we should just sell that beautiful rock back. It's just too big for your hand. The only way to get such a stone off her hand will be over her dead body, and I would have to sell my entire rig to afford it in the first place.
