Speaker base on SDA 1's

Hello again everyone,
My sda 1a's are showing some age on the base of speaker, I guess you could say the stands. Has anyone here replaced those "stands" in the past, if so could you please share with me what you did to modify or replace them.
Am real "newbish" when it comes to any sort of speaker modifications.
BTW, the bases look like they may have been the victim of some sort of water damage in the past. The rest of speaker is cosmetically fine.

Thanks.. -
Howdy again everyone,
Can anyone offer a alternative as what to do for these stands? -
You should post pictures showing how much of it is damaged so others can better recommend what to do exactly.Truck setup

Thankee! -
I haven't seen the built in stand-fixture on the 1A's but I've seen others build their own from MDF for studio-style 1C's online.Truck setup

Yeah, I need to really dig around these forums to find out related articles. I am sure that is the way to go with this problem.
Truth be told, these speakers were in mu house when it caught fire, guess what, I got these two out before I tried for anythign else
That is so friggin warped...Anyhow, they did get some water damage to the bases as the firemen were busy spraying everything (they were both kinda close to the house). I petered out sorta fast trying to run with one at a time. -
So...., you got the SDA's out first, what's the matter with that?
You could just spike to bases and get rid of the stand altogether. Just another thought if you would have to build new ones.Remember, when you're running from something, you're running to something...-me -
Pictures are critical.
You did the right thing by getting them out first.
Did you leave the girlfriend or wife's cat behind? If you did, good move on your part. -

Sorry fellas the lil ol' lady was faster she scooped up a ton of pictures, was kind of a depressing day.
The actual fire was kept contained upstairs thanks to 40 years of lead paint on the bedroom doors.
Anyhoot, my running out with them was no joke, heavy **** ....wife is fine..no pets.
Yes I will hopefully be able to post pics in the mid afternoon tomorrow once I get phone back.
