Anybody ever replace the standoffs on the circuit board of the 1.2 TL's? The circuit board has a bit of weight to it and it sure looks like if those standoffs ever come loose or break....well you know the rest :( Without a doubt I am going to replace them ASAP. My hope is to find metal standoffs and use plastic washers to prevent a short circuit. Now that I think of it maybe I'll use bolts and nuts with plastic washers.....to be continued.

You can usually find plastic nuts and bolts in the specialty drawers at Lowe's and Home Depot. Not a huge size selection though. I've also used computer motherboard standoffs (after all, a computer MB is just a big circuit board). Most of the newer boards don't use the plastic ones anymore but you can buy a bag of them at most computer supply stores.

You will laugh at this but I like to shave wine corks to the correct thickness with a very sharp knife and then use hot glue to hold them in place. It really work quite well, you can have any thickness you like and there is no question of short circuits.
