better than I could have ever imagined.
First the road trip, from near Allentown,Pa. to near Akron,Oh. 407 miles by gps. My son and I left home at 3 AM. got some coffee and pulled into the sellers' driveway at 9:15 AM. No traffic at all and nothing but mountains and trees. Loaded them onto pickup on foam and on there bellies. It rained off and on all the way there but stopped in time to load. Left there at 9:45 AM and made it home at 4:20 PM. Some traffic and stopped for some grub. In between we had a ball, lots of laughs, spent some good alone time with the kid, well he is 37 but still my kid.
We unloaded, took a few minutes to set up and then audition them. From the first tone you could hear a big difference between the srs 2s' and these. Much fuller and deep bass. All the sdas' have a great sharp bass but these added some deep richness. Also the mids are much, much better. They are a bit big for the room but that will do until we move, where they will have more room to breath. One thing I didn't notice was the sda effect being that much better. The srs2s' did a nice job there.
The seller was a good guy, he is divorced and had to meet him at his house that was just sold and he was selling most of his audio equipment. Everythng was broken down so I couldn't audition them but I'm not to bad with judging someones character.
Thanks again to all of you for your well wishes and I feel I am where I want to be.

Congrats on the new speakers. Nothing like a roadtrip to bond with a familiy member. Or, to remember why you're glad they moved out. JK!!!
Believe me, I know the feeling of driving all hours to get a pair of SDA's. I drove from KC, Kansas to Cinci, OH to get mine. It was worth it.
    Happy listening.
