    Wow.

    My brain hurts.

But someone needs to pick those up. Hell, i'd buy them if i were just a tad bit closer. Just to say that i have them. I honestly wouldn't even care what they sounded like.

I agree with concealer. Those speakers just look ultra cool. For 80 bucks, how bad can they be?

I remember reading elsewhere that the drivers were impossible to repair, and there were nothing special anyway. Check out the spring clip terminals, hot!

I remember those but a square port would scare me, Chuff Chuff.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Called APM (which I believe meant "Accurate Piston Motion"). They weren't bad (EDIT - in general; and some of them were actually pretty durn respectable).

I had a dump-find boombox here for a while with APM drivers...

I believe it has a honeycomb tweeter as well. They sound pretty good for the age and for $80 I'd grab them. I prefer the bookshelf version over the floorstander.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Square drivers can sound silly sick. I heard these speakers and was amazed:

If you're interested in some of the fine vintage hardware from Sony, Yamaha, and others, this is a great website:
