Matching CS2 or CS1 with R30's
I recently upgraded to a Pioneer VSX-1019H receiver and man has this thing brought new life to my Polk R30's. I am so glad I did not choose to replace them. The difference from my 7 year old yamaha receiver was incredible. On to the question.
I currently have four R30's, two for fronts and two for surrounds. My center is a CSi20, I feel it sounds flat when compared with the R30's and sometimes it is difficult to hear it over the r30's, especially voices. I want to replace the center channel and keep my R30's. However I am at a crossroads. The drivers in the R30's are 6 1/2". I think the CS2 would be a good fit since it also has 6 1/2" drivers, however the product page from polk recommends the CS1. They are only like $30 apart in price. Polk does not recommend the CS2 until the R50's and Monitor 50's, I believe. Any thoughts or considerations. All speakers are set to small, per polk, with an 80hz crossover. The sound field has also been calibrated and is well balanced per channel when using white noise test patterns.
Oh and I am using a sub. It is a polk SW202 i believe.
Thanks,
Finger is on the trigger.

Thanks for the welcoming,
Definitely have the room, the space in my ent center is about 46" wide, 24" deep and about 13" high. The CS2 will look great. I found a cs2 for 149 shipped to my door last night, brand new from newegg. According to the many reviews, some in direct comparison to the cs1, everyone has been happy. I even found a review from someone who upgraded from the csi20 like I am and said it made everything much more clear and the voices much fuller. Awesome!! I think that is what I am going to go with since there were no objections from the polk nuts here. Cant wait. Sweet!!
Thanks,
