I'm in the process of building a HT system. I currently have the csiA6 center, and a pair of rtia1 bookshelf.
I plan on getting an Onkyo 706 or 806 very soon

Ok here's my question..
Since I live in an apartment, sound will not be turned up very loud at all. Would you suggest next buying a pair of fxia4's, and use the rtia1's as fronts for now (to be rear's in my 7.1 later). Allowing me to save and buy rtia9's later when I have more space.. I love these speakers but, I can't appreciate them to their fullest in this small space. I would buy the rtia5's but I would want the step up at some point so why bother.
We would be using this setup for atleast 95% HT use.. not much music listening at all.
Help

    welcome to club polk!

your setup is close to mine and i live in an apartment also. i'm using the csi-a6 center with 4 rti-a1's as my fronts and surrounds. it's plenty enough for an apartment. the a1's are really good speakers and put out a lot more sound than people expect, they will be fine for your fronts for now, especially in a small space.

A set of fxia4's would be better choice for my surrounds correct. They are a bit more, but i think it would have to sound better there.
I have no idea.. I'm stepping up from tv speakers here.. totally new to the idea of good sound... I can't wait..

If your going to be using for 95% H/T, I would advise getting the RTIA5's for your fronts. They are a better choice for H/T then the A9's. And they are not bad for music either.
