    Seems like a fair price although I'm sure he'd take a few bucks less. Interesting that they're black which you very rarely see. Almost everyone in the late 80's & early 90's was still into the Oak/Walnut thing. When I auditioned them I don't even remember a black version. Must have missed it.

    Rare and worth it if they are fully functional and presentable. My neighbor hounded me for months to sell him the pair I had......his love affair with the 3.1's is going on 2+ years now......and appears to have no end!

    Too bad they were not closer. Shipping is the hassle. Are there companies that come package the items and ship. I am not aware of them. Are they that much better than SDA 1c's. They look like the same size, so they are not beasts like the SDA SRS.

    I have never heard a pair of 1C's so I can't compare them. I do think the line source array with the centered tweeter is a better design than the 1C. MOF, the last "real" SDA speakers made, the SRT, had this design so they must have been on to something.
