The other night David Letter made a very poor taste joke about Sarah Palin's 14 year old daughter having sex with a Yankee ballplayer. If this was a conservative talk show host, or the remark was even borderline racy, the announcer would be fired. Look what happened to Imus.

I am sick and tired of the liberal press continuing to bash the conservative party to divert the attention away from the tax and spend socialist agenda being promoted by the current administration.

I encourage you to write, email, or phone call the advertisers of the David Letterman show threatening never to buy their products again as long as Letterman is employed by CBS. Let's get this a-hole fired.

BTW, Ted Kennedy should be in jail for murder, and not some great American hero.

It's unlikely that Dave would get fired over that...nor would any number of conservative hosts who have done as much themselves or worse.

It's not our job to decide who should say what whether they're liberal or conservative.

I suggest a few beers and some good tunes! You and I know both sides feel 'exactly' the same. It's a persecution thing....each party grumbles when the other is in power. Didn't see Letterman...the dude is fairly harmless--preaching to the choir just like everyone else...although all comedians risk being politically offensive.

Carl, I love ya man, but he wasn't talking about her 14 year old daughter he was talking about the other one who got knocked up while Palin was running for pres.

It was in poor taste, I agree.................but that's what comedians do.

I am with you on the outrage... but here is not a place for discussing it. while I support free discourse and have engaged in some of it, I feel this issue is just too politically charged for any discussion of it here.;)

Carl, understand and agree! Letterman is desparate for ratings and any publicity is good publicity, no matter how low he had to go to get it.
