Hello all,

I have Rti series fronts and center. After reviewing post on this site i decided i needed a pair of Rti4s' for my rears. They are hard to find like everyone has mentioned. I have found a pair locally for sale (wrong color) but i dont know what they are worth. He is asking 200 for them. He says they have maybe 300 hours on them and he hasnt had to replace any speakers. Off the top of your heads, are they worth 200? or could they be found cheaper in the color i want (black)?

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Scotty

For comparison purposes only, I paid 169.99 per pair for my first set of RTi4s back in Nov 2007 from Crutchfield with free shipping. I still have my second set as my rears - no plans on upgrading any time soon.

As much as I think the RTi4s are an under rated gem of a small bookshelf, you may want to consider some other options if $200 is the firm price.

Keep an eye on the Official Polk Ebay store - that's where I picked up my RTiA3s for $219/pr.

Paid 140 for my rti6s off eBay. I thought it was a scam until they arrived in perfect condition (and black). There are better deals to be had for sure. I would wait.

$200 is WAY too high for those. There's a pair locally for $140; and I even think that's a bit high.

Be flexible with your system; Just be on the look out for ANY good RTi series speaker pair. That way you could move your fronts to rears, or use any combination you can think of.

$200 is way too high. They're worth 100-150 depending on condition. You could get the RTi8 towers for not much more than that.

Keep your eye on Polk Directs ebay store, their inventory is always changing, and their prices are always great.

What are you using for your fronts/center?
