Great series! Both teams played well. I think Detroit ran out of gas. They only had 23 shots on goal tonight and only 25 in game six. They had averaged about 38 during the entire playoff series. Pittsburgh also won with their best player on the bench for most of the game. There are a lot of good hockey fans in Detroit, congrats on a great series. As in most every city there are a lot of poor losers. Booing the presentation of the cup is something I have never heard before. These A-holes give the good fans of Detroit a black eye.

Congrats to Pittsburg, but I do feel for the fans in Detroit right now. They as a community, have been put through so much by the economy and the utter collapse of the auto industry. I will cut them some slack for booing, as well as overlook the overturned buses and police cars in Pittsburg as the celebrations begin...

Don't get carried away and caught up in the party frenzy Carl and throw some speakers on that fire. Enjoy the night Carl.

Crosby got hurt midway through the second period. Clean check. He tried to return for one shift in the 3rd, but was in obvious pain. He looked pretty good smiling and parading around the ice hoisting the cup. Malkin won the Con Smythe. He scored more points in the playoffs than anyone in history. Max Talbot scored both Penguin goals. Good game.

Pens played a good game,. shut down Detroit really well, but I must admit, I thought the Wings would win.

Detroit just didn't look like the same team last night. I pretty much knew they were going to loose by half way through the 1st period. I dunno if they got rusty in the 3-day break or what. The hockey gods were definitely on Pittsburg's side.

Amazing. To me so much better then winning the super bowl. Not that I'm not a big steeler fan, but the journey towards the cup is so much tougher and longer the victory felt much more fulfilling. Now all we need is the pirates to lose a record 17th consecutive season and we will be the true city of champions;)

Parade tomorrow. Hope you able to get off work tomorrow Carl:p. You know I'll be there:D
