I reached out to this guy about 8 days ago and asked how much for the a9's only. I even mentioned that I have family in Park Forest. No reply. I suppose he is really confident in the sale as-is?

This is true!!!;) But if they are as in great of shape as mine,Then i think the asking price is not to high as well.

retail on that stuff is over $2000. plus who ever pays full asking price, try talking your way down. When i was looking for 9s you either found retail at 1700 for both and 450 for the center. Or you found used that was beat up pretty bad, like b stock. i guess i would want to see pictures before anything.

There's a guy in Oregon on CL (forgot the exact post) who wants $2,500 for RTi12s, CSi5 and FXi5......said he needed money badly. I politely told him he was way high, and he responds, "I don't need the money that badly."

It's amazing the grossly inflated value people put on their stuff. Just because it's worth that to you, doesn't mean it's worth that to others. (This rant NOT directed at anyone in this post, just FYI). I see people that post stuff on CL all the time for way above Fair market value. I normally let it go, but some people just spam the crap out of CL, and won't let it die.

Ah, the joys of a free market economy, people can ask whatever price they want. Sorry for the rant, but I've been seeing this more and more on CL. It's obvious these dudes aren't selling, based on the facts that they're constantly reposting their ads.

Sorry man, didnt mean to not respond, I really want to sell the front three as a set and didnt think after shipping you would want to buy these. My bad, If your still interested send me an email again! Rocco was going to buy them but his situation changed so they are available once again

Thanks for posting that Rocco, My name is Matt Douglas and I'm the owner of these speakers. They are in great shape and haven't moved since i put them in place. I bought them six months ago and have used them in a low listening level environment. I am in a townhouse and cant really let them loose. I use them at night for TV and movies, they are on my main system run by a Yamaha receiver and connected with audioquest Rockefeller cables. The whole system is protected by a panamax 5400.
